How to maximise your bookings

You are a Driving Instructor User of the Secure Licence booking platform.

You are trying to: 

Maximise the number of bookings in your calendar.

Overview:

Secure Licence uses Smart Scheduling to maximise the booking times in your calendar. It works by first, considering your operating hours and travel time, then it generates fixed booking times for learners. These booking times adjust, in real-time, as both Secure Licence bookings and your private events are added to the calendar. As a result, the maximum number of bookings can be received each day. It is automatically applied to every Driving Instructor’s account.

To maximise the benefits of Smart Scheduling, we encourage driving instructors to keep the "Smart Scheduling View'' switched on. When it is turned on, you will see the same available lesson options learners will see. In addition to this, you can use these times as a guide when you are sending a Booking Proposal or adding a Personal Event. This will minimise any non-bookable time gaps in the day.

How to maximise your bookings

Step 1.

Log in to your instructor account.

Step 2.

From the menu, select Calendar Settings

Step 3.

Scroll down until you see Smart Scheduling 

Click the toggle to "on", the default view will be 1 hr bookings. The calendar will show recommended booking times in green. You can also select to view 2 hr bookings

Things to Consider

• Smart Scheduling only applies to 1-hour and 2-hour lessons
• Test Packages can still be booked in 15-minute increments
• Instructors can still send proposals and add personal events in 15-minute increments as needed.
