Your tax invoice explained

You are a Driving Instructor User of the Secure Licence booking platform.

You are trying to: 

Understand the information on your tax invoice. 

Overview:

Your tax invoice gives you a detailed breakdown of the payments you’ve made to Secure Licence, which can be useful when completing your tax return.

You will automatically be issued a tax invoice each time you receive a payout. It will be issued via email and you can also access it at any time via your instructor account.

At the top of the tax invoice:

• Business information: Your registered business information
• Date: The day the payment was made, this may not be the date you receive it
• ID: A unique reference number for the payment
• Amount: The total amount deducted from your payout

In the middle of the tax invoice, itemised by booking with the GST separately displayed:

Marketplace learner

• Student Name: The first name of the student who made the payment
• Booking Details: A summary of the lesson (Booking ID#, type and duration)
• Learner Discounts: Any discounts received by the learner due to purchase in bulk
• Booking Service Fee: The amount paid to Secure Licence for the booking

Invited learner

• Student Name: The first name of the student who made the payment
• Booking Details: A summary of the lesson (Booking ID#, type and duration)
• Learner Discounts: Any discounts received by the learner for purchasing in bulk
• Invited Learner Fee: The administration fee paid to Secure Licence for invited learners

Reversals

• Student Name: The first name of the student who made the payment
• Booking Details: A summary of the lesson (Booking ID#, type and duration)
• Booking Service Fee: A reversal of the amount previously deducted and paid to Secure Licence for the booking

At the bottom of the tax invoice:

• Payout Processing Fee deducted for this payout
• Total: This is the total amount paid to Secure Licence for the payout period (incl GST)
• GST included: The total amount GST included in the payout
• Secure Licence's business information: Our business address, company number and contact details will be listed
